DAY 35 - The Secret Fire

If you like Greek Mythology then you will know the legend of Prometheus. In the myth he is credited with tricking Zeus and stealing fire from the gods and giving it to humans. This ‘secret fire’ became the source of all human creativity and passion to make things happen.

Let me make this simple to understand because it’s really important. During The Great Test, when we have worked hard to transform to become our ‘true-self’ and we are fully committed to live a life of True Empowerment, it is ours for the taking if - and I stress the ‘if’ - we are prepared to go within and engage with our ‘secret fire’.

There can be no change for the better in your world without the full engagement of your innermost passion. Yet when you do engage your ‘secret fire’ - and you are committed to using it for the good of the world around you - then True Empowerment is yours.

Many ancient alchemists thought that this inner fire was so powerful that only those who have control over their own shadow self can be told how that power can be aroused from within. To disguise its true nature in their writings, they referred to it symbolically as a sword or various hunting weapons. Whatever it is and however they described it, they all agreed that without the ‘secret fire’ there could be no miracles.

When our will is focused in an act of meditation or prayer - without other distractions and with the intention concentrated on a desired outcome - we are capable of miracles. This is the power of the ‘secret fire and ultimately requires the giving of the whole self to the process.

To go back to Prometheus for a moment. In the Greek Myth, his giving of the ‘secret fire’ to humans brings a fair amount of negative energy in his direction - not least from Zeus. In the Jungian understanding of the unconscious mind, this negativity is the destructive force that robs us of the joy and happiness that is our birthright.

This is why we need Unconditional Love. The transformed person, who has allowed Love to heal their inner weaknesses - turning them into their greatest strength - is the most powerful being on earth. Negative emotions that would otherwise ‘pour cold water’ on your ‘secret fire’ evaporate - leaving you free to align your intent with that of Love.

This person can perform miracles using the ‘secret fire’ of their purest passion and The Soul of The World is enriched beyond measure.

I will align my deepest passion with Unconditional Love for the good of my world.

Remember I have asked Love to give you everything you need to be the Alchemist in your world.
