DAY 11 - Unconditional Love

‘The greatest challenge we face is to truly believe, at the very core of our heart, we are loved unconditionally for who we are, and not for what we can do’ - Colm Holland

Throughout our meditations so far I have been referring on a regular basis to Love - with a capital ‘L’. Today I think it’s time for me to define what I mean by Love - so we can all have the same starting point as a reference for something that is not that easy to define.

Here is what Unconditional Love looks like for me:

This is a Love that cares beyond measure;

Never gives up;

Constantly wants the best for another;

Forgives and never judges;

Is full of compassion and mercy;

Feels the pain and joy of others deeply;

It is a Love revealed through action.

This is my definition of Love, and it has no bounds and is unchanging.

Love is also the name I give to the force that exists within the very fabric of all life and across the cosmos;

It holds all things together.

This is the Love I constantly seek to become one with, so I too can Love unconditionally.

This is my destiny and my only real obligation.

Yet this obligation comes with a challenge - and that is:

‘Do I truly believe, at the very core of my heart, I am loved unconditionally for who I am, and not for what I can do’

Unconditional Love is there for you if you will accept it.

And this Love will give you what you want, if you let it.

Here is our meditation mantra for today:

I will allow Love to accept me - so I can give to others.

And remember, to encourage you throughout these exercises I have asked Love to give you everything you need to be the Alchemist in your world.
